BRAZUCAS
During the most xenophobic administration in US history, Brazilian community leaders from the Greater Boston Area defend themselves against a government threatening their very existence.
project in development
Structured as a longitudinal documentary, BRAZUCAS will be filmed primarily in observational style. During four years, we will document how the Brazilian community from the Greater Boston Area has structured and mobilized itself to deal with Donald Trump's Mass Deportation campaign. From the perspective of a unique latino diaspora, we will follow the daily routine of brazuca community leaders as they build local government and grassroots support for the development and resistance of multilingual immigrant communities in the region.
